Role

AwanTunai is looking for an Assistant Tax Manager who is responsible for ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, managing tax documentation, and facilitating tax reporting and payments for the company.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for calculating and reporting the company's monthly and annual tax returns.

  • Preparing corporate tax strategies, corporate income tax (CIT), and managing tax disputes. 

  • Provide tax advisory and support to other departments to ensure compliance and efficiency.

  • Stay updated on local and international tax regulations and assess their impact on the business.

  • Collaborate with the Tax Manager in preparing annual tax reports and handling tax queries.

  • Supervise the preparation of data for tax audits and manage any related tax litigations.

  • Maintain strong relationships with external parties to ensure timely acquisition of necessary tax documents.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Tax Administration, Fiscal Studies, or Business Administration from a reputable university.

  • 5+ years of solid experience in taxation, with a strong track record and experience in the financial services.

  • Experience in handling and managing CIT.

  • Holds Brevet A & B certifications.

  • Proficient in tax reporting and compliance software.

  • Advanced technical skills in tax accounting, and in overseeing both monthly and annual tax compliance processes.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives in a fast-paced, high-growth, and evolving environment.

  • Capable of working independently while also effectively leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Indonesian, written and spoken.
