AwanTunai is looking for a Head of Lending Capital who can originate capital from banks and institutional lenders and drive scaling our loan book.
Responsibilities
Manage Lending Capital (Funding) function of AwanTunai. Includes: working with management on funding strategy; monitoring existing facilities / covenants; expanding existing facilities; acquiring new institutional relationships / facilities (with a preference for local banks).
Understand AwanTunai’s loan portfolio, loan operations, and risk management methodologies to educate partner institutions on the robustness of AwanTunai’s business and assets.
Negotiate and re-negotiating covenants to support increasing flexibility in running of business and loan book operations.
Develop liquidity strategy to cater for potential disruptions in funds availability.
Working with the Sales and Risk team to understand business and operational limitations.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or business related degree required, Master degree is preferred.
7+ years of experience in corporate banking business, credit or risk roles, or funding roles at non-banks / fintechs
Experience in bank syndication preferred.
Strong network within the banking community is preferred.
Credit risk background preferred.
Excellent communication, coordination and presentation skills, must be fluent both in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
Strong analytical skills with advanced spreadsheet, financial modeling capabilities, and facility structuring.
Flexible mindset to be able to understand alternative risk management methodologies, and be able to communicate such innovations to the general banking community.
